Windy City BIO:
WindyCity, founded by its’ leader: Kim BanJang from Asotounion, is an exceptionally individualistic reggae and soul band that started during the summer of 2004 on a certain windy afternoon.
They released their first album called “Love Record” followed by a second named: “Countryman’s Vibration.” They also have two mini albums: Psychedelicious City”, and ‘2more lover’ (only in Japan).
The band calls on much influence and respect from the sound of Africa, reggae and salsa. Essentially making their very own unique sound. They played as a first foreign band at Sunset Live in Fukuoka two years ago. Also, Fat Festival in Bangkok, Ssamzie, Pentaport Rock Festival and many others others in Korea as a headline act.
Windy City is ever diligent on its quest for the new sound.
Nowadays they are working on new collaboration albums with Jamaican musicians and starting promotions throughout Europe as well.
